Job Description
Our client a leading rehabilitation healthcare facility based in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for a Medical Director Rehabilitation Center.
In this role you will be responsible for the following and not limited to:
Should be from a Psychiatric background.
The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for managing the overall operation of a rehabilitation department or facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing managing and coordinating the operations of our rehabilitation department.
This includes implementing rehabilitation programs supervising physical therapists occupational therapists and speechlanguage pathologists and ensuring that the highest quality of patient care is delivered.
- Lead and supervise the rehabilitation team including physical therapists occupational therapists and speechlanguage pathologists
- Oversee patient evaluations and development of treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to rehabilitation services
- Coordinate and manage staffing needs and schedules
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the rehabilitation department
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
- Provide staff training performance evaluations and professional development opportunities
- Handle budget and resource allocation for the rehabilitation department
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate would have the following perquisites:
Proven experience as a Director of Rehabilitation or similar role in healthcare.
Current state licensures as a Physical Therapist Occupational Therapist or SpeechLanguage Pathologist
Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of rehabilitation therapy
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with budget and resource management
