Summary:


The work schedule for this position is full time (40 hours per week)


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time 06 weeks of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

To do a visitation on the housing during preparations before occupancy and after the tenant vacate the house to ensure everything is ready and all is well maintained.


Duties

Note: All applicants must currently hold or be able to acquire a UAE residency visa to fill the position. For nonUAE national the Mission assists in obtaining the required residency visa to lawfully work in the UAE. Ref. to Eligibility Question #2 and Vacancy Question #1: If a nonUAE national has a valid UAE residency visa they should answer Yes to Eligibility Q#2 and Vacancy Q#1 and attach a copy of residency visa or both sides of Emirates ID.


Basic Function of the Position
:


Job holder is the logistics liaison for the General Service Office Housing unit. In this capacity job holder tracks arrival and departures of personnel assigned to the Embassy in order to ensure that housing is ready and available for incoming officers as well as recommend adding or decommissioning the leases as appropriate.


In preparation of preparing residences for new arrivals the job holder coordinates with the Housing Board Facilities Management (FAC) Regional Security Office (RSO) and General Services Office Property/Warehouse as well as external contacts including the landlord landlord maintenance team and other vendors.


The job holder also conducts final departure inspections to ascertain if the departing occupant caused any damages above normal wear on tear on either USG property or landlord property and presents the report to the General Services Office.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years experience in a customer service atmosphere is required.


Education Requirements:

EDUCATION: Completion of two (2) years college or university is required.

Evaluations:

Fluent in English reading writing and speaking is required


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: *This may be tested*


Must possess good communication and drafting/writing skills. This may be tested


Must have a valid current UAE license for light vehicle. Must have had a valid drivers license for a minimum of five (5) years. *


  • Per 14 FAM 433.3 an operator of an official U.S. Government vehicle must be 25 years of age or older and have had a drivers license for a minimum of five years. Therefore at the time of application candidates seeking jobs requiring a current drivers license must also fulfill the 14 FAM 433.3 requirement.


  • If your current UAE drivers license is obtained in less than five years please also provide past drivers license to verify your eligibility for the 14 FAM 433.3 requirement.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
