About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Payments Bancs Specialist to join our growing team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation and implementation of Bancs payment modules for our clients in the banking sector. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and strong understanding of the banking domain to deliver exceptional solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze design develop test and implement Bancs payment module customizations to meet client requirements.
- Partner with clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding security unit testing and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other teams including development operations and client services to ensure successful project delivery.
- Research and benchmark new technologies to identify opportunities for improvement within the Bancs payment modules.
- Present technical solutions to senior and executive management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Minimum 5 years of product experience in Bancs core banking products (TCS) Payments Module.
- Proven experience in handling client customization requirements and a strong understanding of Bancs product capabilities.
- Experience in handling Bancs interfacing requirements.
- Experience in implementing Bancs applications for banks.
- Experience with direct client interaction.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Bancs product architecture and customization layers.
- Experience in handling varying customization requirements and best practices.
- Expertise in Oracle (SQL PL/SQL Stored Procedures Triggers Functions).
- Experience in Unix shell scripting and report designing.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Containerization technologies (a plus).
Functional Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of Bancs payment module functionality.
- Strong understanding of the banking domain and its terminology.
- Experience in following best practices for coding security unit testing and documentation.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to influence and motivate others through your deep knowledge and experience.
- Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
