With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, our client is seeking a skilled MEP Estimation Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview: As an MEP Estimation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by providing accurate cost estimates for MEP systems in construction projects. You will collaborate closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects while adhering to quality standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive MEP cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for accurate estimations.
• Utilize estimation software and tools to develop detailed cost breakdowns for MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and validate cost estimates and proposals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions while maintaining project quality standards.
• Prepare and present estimation reports, including detailed breakdowns of material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market rates, and technological advancements in MEP systems to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an MEP Estimation Engineer in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in estimation software.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards related to MEP systems in the UAE is preferred.
