About The Role
As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of complex oral and facial conditions that require surgical intervention. You will perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implant placements, jaw reconstructions, and facial trauma reconstructions. Collaboration with other dental and medical professionals will be a key aspect of this role, ensuring comprehensive and integrated patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' oral and facial conditions, taking into account their medical and dental histories
- Develop personalized treatment plans and perform surgical procedures as required
- Perform extractions, dental implant placements, jaw reconstructions, and facial trauma reconstructions
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases, infections, and deformities
- Collaborate with other dental and medical specialists to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide post-operative care and closely monitor patient recovery
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery
Requirements
- Hold dental and medical degrees
- Proven experience in performing a diverse range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
- Expertise in advanced surgical techniques and technologies
- Thorough knowledge of oral and maxillofacial anatomy, pathology, and treatment principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
