Job Description
Specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon
Position: Specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon
Location: Sharjah UAE
Industry: Hospital
Salary: AED 30000 AED 35000 (plus benefits)
Nationality Preference: Arab
Gender: Male / Female
Licensing Requirement: Valid DHA / DOH / MOH License or Eligibility/Evaluation
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat oral facial and jaw-related diseases deformities and trauma cases.
Perform surgical procedures including corrective jaw surgery facial trauma repair cleft lip and palate surgery and removal of impacted teeth or tumors.
Manage head neck mouth and facial injuries in emergency and inpatient settings.
Collaborate with dentists orthodontists ENT surgeons plastic surgeons and other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary cases.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care counseling patients on treatment plans and recovery expectations.
Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays CT scans and MRIs for surgical planning.
Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards and hospital protocols.
Participate in hospital accreditation quality assurance and continuous medical education activities.
Requirements
Medical Degree (MBBS/DMD/BDS or equivalent) with specialization in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Completed Residency / Fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Valid DHA / DOH / MOH License or eligibility/evaluation.
Strong expertise in facial trauma corrective jaw surgery and oral pathology.
Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural hospital environment.
