MEP BIM COORDINATOR

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Coordination:

• Collaborate with project teams to develop BIM execution plans and standards.
• Manage and coordinate the creation modification and distribution of BIM models and data.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on BIM models and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist project teams in clash detection and resolution by identifying and resolving conflicts in BIM models.
• Train and support project team members in the effective use of BIM software and tools.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and best practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIMrelated workflows and processes.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of BIMrelated documentation such as BIM project execution plans BIM standards and model delivery requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide BIMrelated updates and recommendations to project teams.
• Quality check of model and model data in accordance with the contract.

Key Qualifications:

• Recent previous experience (within the last 6 to 8 years) in a BIM role for major residential Highrise projects.
• B.Arch. Mechanical Engineering for MEP.
• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or a BIM Specialist in civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of civil & MEP engineering principles and practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
