We are seeking a diligent and experienced Permanent Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in compensation analysis to play a pivotal role in our organization. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing and implementing compensation strategies, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining compensation budgets. You will also be involved in the reconciliation of compensation, ensuring that all employees are compensated fairly and in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Compensation Analyst, your key responsibilities will include
- Developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compensation strategies that align with the company's goals and industry standards.
- Conducting regular compensation analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Collaborating with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Managing compensation budgets, ensuring that all compensation plans are financially sustainable.
- Reconciliation of compensation, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
- Assisting in the design and administration of compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and equity programs.
- Providing compensation guidance and recommendations to HR and management, including job evaluation, salary structure development, and pay-for-performance strategies.
- Conducting market research to understand current compensation trends and making recommendations based on findings.
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations on compensation strategies for senior management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Compensation Analyst role should possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a compensation analyst role, preferably in the legal industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is required.
- Extensive knowledge of compensation strategies, laws, and regulations.
- Proven experience with compensation reconciliation and budgeting.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex compensation data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and compensation management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about compensation issues.
