Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire fleet operations, including the management of vehicles and equipment.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve fleet operations and efficiency.
• Responsible for mechanic T&D (Training & Development) plans, progress and adherence, inclusive of in person training, in partnership with individual branches
• Responsible for regional downtime analysis and understanding the data to determine trends and reduce overall downtime
• Drive cost savings when choosing to do external repairs
• Analyze data and develop reports on fleet performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage fleet management systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect fleet operations.
• Assists with development of capital budget as well as maintaining budget discipline and analysis of actual fleet needs vs. wants
• Collaborate with mechanics and other team members to ensure the fleet is maintained to high standards.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure fleet performance.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to improve fleet efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor and drive adherence to the proper use of Fleet tools and systems, including DOT compliance
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in fleet management
• Must have at least some experiences with DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements
• Must have an active driver’s license
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus
