BIM Detailer

Description:

As a CAD/BIM Detailer you will support the project management team in the production of design, construction and field-use documents utilizing building information modeling (BIM) software. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Initial project model set-up
• Review project scope of work, including plans, specifications, estimates and proposals
• Model equipment, ductwork, and piping systems and equipment
• Coordinate with other design disciplines and construction trades (may require project site visits)
• Track RFI’s and drawing issue revisions
• Annotate drawings for pricing, permit and installation
• Develop content as necessary
• Assist in maintenance of content libraries and modeling standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: 5 + years’ experience – HVAC design/detailing. Ability to read and understand mechanical, architectural and structural plans. Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of CAD Design Systems, 2+ years Revit COMPETENCIES:
