Job Description

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for all types of infrastructure utilities (Wet and Dry) in addition to roads and surfaces for a Large Infrastructure Project within Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities will include

  • Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modeling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges.
  • Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
  • The candidate will support the BIM manager and project delivery team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
  • The candidate will provide progress and performance updates to the BIM manager on a fortnightly and monthly basis.
  • The candidate will record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
  • The candidate will ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
  • The candidate will collaborate and coordinate with the BIM manager design-changes and model challenges.
  • The candidate will support the BIM manager with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting.
