Job Title: Senior Information Security Consultant

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring various IT & Information security tools such as SIEM Cyber defence system DLP Proxy Email Gateway Application Control Advanced threat protection tools Antivirus systems etc to ensure that Information security is not compromised.
• Monitor prioritize and directing responses to enterprise wide IT & Information security activities from the 24x7x365 Security Operations Center. Conducting triage (level3) on information security incidents and including root cause analysis and coordinating with custodians for remediation.
• Conducting regular vulnerability assessment on Applications Systems & Network of the organization and categorize priorities and remediating vulnerabilities without any negative impact to the systems.
• Conducting Compliance Audit & Security assessment on Applications Systems and Network to determine the compliancy as per CIS Benchmarks and standards requirements.
• Threat hunting activities to ensure the Information system across the organization are safe & secure and proactively rollout controls (including IOCs).
• Conducting sandbox testing and forensics on the affected/infected systems and collecting evidence to identify the root causes of infections.
• Project management and Implementation/ rollout of new IT security /IS solutions. Management and maintenance of IS/IT Security tools and solutions.
• Conducting periodic security assessments such as but not limited to pentesting configuration reviews performing and produce reports.
• Liaison for internal and external audits.
• Ideal candidate should have at least 45 years of IT security experienceand will report to the Manager Information Security. Industry certification is an advantage.
