Monitor the performance of the supervision consultant and contractor.
Assisting in tasks related to marine works from the design stage to the implementation and delivery stages.
Check the progress reported in various status reports on marine activities.
Monitor the technical submission and approval process.
Identify improvements that can be achieved regarding the sequencing and progress of the project from all parties during the construction process.
Monitor the inspection process and identify improvements if possible.
Monitor quality, health, safety and environment performance and identify and address deviations in performance.
Coordinating and managing the relationship with local authorities.
Familiarize himself with Hill International's quality, environmental, safety and occupational health policies, standards and procedures and ensure ongoing compliance with these requirements while working for Hill.
Perform other duties as instructed by the Line Manager/Supervisor.
Required profile of candidates
Bachelor's degree, preferably in civil engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in building marine projects, with extensive experience in dealing with local authorities in Abu Dhabi (minimum five years).
Experience in dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors.
He has a proven track record as a construction manager on large marine scale projects.
Required to have a strong technical background in offshore projects and must have experience working on a project management team for the entire life of the project.
Managing tests, models, prototypes, samples and quality standards.
