Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to achieve functional objectives.
Train and develop appointed employees on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient in the job and achieve the objectives of the concerned department.
Budgets
Provide input to the preparation of department/division budgets and assist in the implementation of approved budget and work plans to achieve department goals.
Verify and highlight any significant discrepancies to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, systems, processes and procedures
Implement approved department/division policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support the implementation of department/division work programs in line with company and international standards.
Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
Performance Management
Contribute to the achievement of approved performance objectives for the department/division in line with the company performance framework.
Continuous innovation and improvement
Design and implement new tools and technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to identify intelligent solutions to problems facing the function.
