Job Description
- Large NSW Government Organisation
- Full-time Work Opportunity
- Daily Rate Contract
Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking GIS Data Analyst to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Accountability 2Spatial data acquisition, editing and management
- Explore data and discover patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies and trends
Selection Criteria:
- Advanced ArcGIS Pro/Desktop spatial analysis (examples would be created GTFS catchments for example/Kernel Density Mapping etc)
- Demonstrated online mapping skills including Mapbox, Carto and ArcGIS online
- Proven Data Analysis skills especially in Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI
- Demonstrated data governance and quality assurance experience
- A background in Urban Planning is preferred
- Python coding experience for batch processing more complex tasks like walkability mapping preferred
- Adobe Illustrator experience especially the interface between ArcGIS and Illustrator preferred
On offer is a daily rate contract month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
