Job Title : Projects Senior Specialist

Role Purpose:

Support in developing project management processes through implementing section policies and complying with required quality standards and project management framework and methodology inline with the department strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Operations:

• Develop and implement technology project management processes and guidelines in line with leading practices to ensure efficient and effective execution of all technology projects and in alignment with DCTs digitization and technology priorities.
• Ensure that all technology projects and plans are implemented in line with established standards process and framework to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and communicate best practices techniques and tools for project management to ensure project management process implementation and alignment with the departments objectives.
• Contribute to the conduction of awareness sessions coach and mentor projects team members to ensure the scope goals and deliverables of technology projects support business goals in collaboration with senior management when and if required.
• Support in conducting Project quality audit monitor the compliance of projects with the expected quality standards and deliverables outputs to ensure standardize the processes.
• Proactively monitor IT programs and ensure that corrective methods and plans are identified to ensure a smooth run of work.
• Build and nurture external networks consisting of government and industry experts vendors and other relevant parties for partnerships shared services knowledge cost optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors (Masters degree preferred) in Computer Science IT Web Development or equivalent.
• Certifications in IT Standards MP Methodology Prince2 PMP Agile PMP PgMP is preferred.

Experience:

• Significant extensive experience of at least 35 years in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent with a proven track record of successfully designing and delivering complex solutions in an organization preferably in a similar field tourism museums / cultural institutions marketing.

Skills:

• Full professional English proficiency both in speaking and writing.
• Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint Word and Excel).
• Strong expertise in wide range of technologies including and not limited to cloud platforms; AWS AZURE database APIs and others.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders/vendors and crossfunctional team members.
• Selfmotivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly integrate with existing business software tools and knowledge of other relevant industry software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill including appropriate stakeholder alignment.
