Job Description

Administration Coordinator : Aspatria, Cumbria
Salary: 23,000 - 27,000pa
Hours : 36.25 p/week, flexible start/finish times as required, Mon Fri

MacArthur Recruitment is seeking an Administration Coordinator for a successful Cumbrian production company.

You will be the main contact and administration point for the on-site managers, ensuring consistency for all documentation created, distributed, returned and stored for the various managers (five to six in total). Your will work encompass all on site departments.

This role would suit someone who has strong administration experience; likes working with people; is highly organised; is proficient with MS Office suite; enjoys autonomy, responsibility and independence as well as having excellent interpersonal skills.

There can be flexibility in your start and finish times within the 36.25 hours per week.

Principal Accountabilities for the role of Administration Coordinator :
  • Maintaining personnel files in accordance with GDPR guidelines
  • Arranging new starter inductions
  • Acknowledging resignations and arranging exit interviews with leavers
  • Coordinating retirement administration
  • Liaising with managers to produce new starter or leaver forms, and other documentation as required
  • Taking minutes as required (Disciplinary meetings, Health & Safety Committee, Trade Union meetings, etc.)
  • Providing administrative support to senior management
  • Arranging travel, accommodation and hospitality as required
  • Performing any further ad hoc tasks as required
  • Supporting multiple business functions.

Experience and characteristics required for the role of Administration Coordinator :
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, eg Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A team player
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of proficiency with administration and coordination tasks
  • Able to be consistent with documentation flow eg creation, distribution, return and storage.
