Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion.

WebBeds aims to be at the forefront of digital reinvention within the B2B travel space, helping our suppliers & customers reimagine how we serve their journey to reduce time, increase efficiencies & reach the highest level of service through the use of AI.

We re looking for an experienced team of artificial intelligence engineers to join the revolution, using deep learning, NLP, computer vision, chatbots, and robotics to help us improve various business outcomes and drive innovation. The engineer will join a small multidisciplinary team helping to shape our AI strategy and showcasing the potential for AI through early-stage solutions.

Objectives of this role:

The Senior AI engineer is responsible for designing, tuning and maintaining Machine Learning systems. Duties involve assessing and organizing data, executing tests and experiments, and monitoring and optimizing machine learning processes to help develop strong performing machine learning systems.

• As a Senior member of the team, help to meet the needs of our overall AI strategy.
• Understand WebBeds client & supplier challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to maximising solutions.
• Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration within an advanced engineering team.
• Articulate and document the solutions architecture and lessons learned for each exploration and accelerated incubation.
• Work with the internal team & external suppliers, in conducting assessments of the AI and automation market and competitor landscape.
• Apply machine learning algorithms and libraries.
• Tuning, maintenance and tuning of AI systems in production.
• Helping to design, develop, and research AI systems, models, and schemes.
• Train & retrain AI systems and models as needed.
• Perform statistical analysis and use results to improve models.
• Verify data quality and ensuring it via data cleansing.
• Visualise data for deeper insights.

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

• 5+ years experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions as a Senior AI Engineer.
• Strong foundations in Big data, Statistics, Linear Algebra and Neural Networks
• Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice
• Experience within cloud environments
• Attention to detail with robust analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline.
