Build, develop and manage a strong and capable team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, general ledger, and other specialized finance functions as required.
Maintain accurate and timely financial records and prepare financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal / external stakeholder requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and external advisors.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive financial performance and control financial risk.
Your Qualifications
Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) required.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial operations, financial reporting, or any relevant field.
Experience in the retail industry is advantageous but not essential
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, control processes, accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in software and tools required to perform the key responsibilities.
