Job Description

The Director of Sales will be responsible (in conjunction with the President/CEO & COO) for implementing, developing, and executing the overall sales strategy for all brands, in alignment with company identified objectives for year over year new/incumbent sales. The design and implementation of a streamlined “Consultative Selling Process”. The Director of Sales will manage and develop the sales team for Apex Staffing Advisors. Sales personnel would be held to a specific standard of sales activities that can be quantified to measure individuals’ performance and areas that need to be coached and improved upon.

The Director of Sales will also drive temp, temp-to-hire, and direct placement business/sales, large account programs, flex hire and workforce consulting services. The Director of Sales will identify opportunities for further market development within established regions. The Director or Sales and COO will work together to develop the sales strategies for expansion. A sales plan will be developed based on specific revenue targets and break-even analysis to become profitable in new territories in a pre-determined amount of time.

Director of Sales-Essential Duties:

Ownership Of Sales Process and Success of Sales Objectives.

.

Develop & Implement Sales Curriculum in partnership with executive team.

.

Recruit/Hire/On-board Sales Directors and Market Development Mangers, Ramping them for successful results.

.

Creating Annual Budgets with Executive Team.

.

Sales Forecasting and Target Margin for YOY growth.

.

Managing and coaching Sales Team for meeting expectations and holding them accountable to the results.

.

Prepare and present overall sales performance to company objectives.

.

Proven thought leadership that inspires action, accountability, results, and teamwork.

.

Superior business skills including financial acumen, corporate planning, business operations, and account management.

.

Management of Marketing team to plan develop and execute for new customer acquisition and client retention.

.

Translate vision and strategic plan into clear and specific strategies with defined and measurable outcomes for our entire suite of workforce solutions.

.

Utilizing Market Data from Industry Sources to identify Market Trends and develop Strategies to match those trends including evaluation of the competitive landscape.

.

Continuous training and development programs for sales team.

.

Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with customers.

.

Identify and resolve client issues strategically.

Skills, and Abilities:

.

Well-quipped to recognize and expose risks associated with each project activity, along with the potential impact each risk carries at a financial and business operations level.

.

Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated ability to analyze data and make process improvement recommendations.

.

Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a self-directed manner.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership for one's own actions or decisions.

Proven skill to foster a sense of teamwork and cooperation while working with others.

Executive presence with exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills including the ability to summarize/explain complex financial information.

Ethical and effective handling of sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information

Comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment with multiple projects and aggressive timelines.

Demonstrated experience analyzing and negotiating business transactions including modeling and financial analysis.

Successful track record developing and managing internal processes and resources.

.

Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word

Educations:

.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred and/or minimum of 5 years of prior staffing sales leadership experience.

.

A proven track record of new business development and cross-selling multiple solutions/brands.
