Project Manager (PM)


The client

With more than sixty destinations, the Group isa key player in hospitality industry.

Theycorporate ambitions include market entries in Europe, GCC, US and Asia.

They are a leader on theultra-premium and lifestyle dining.

They focus on entertainment, design, the best cuisine and atmosphere to provide the best experience to their guests.


Introduction

  • The Project Manager (PM) will lead the execution of owned and licensed new projects openings for the group .
  • The majority of which being existing brands projected into new sites/developments.
  • Active from development phase (development opportunities feasibility study) to opening for trade, the Project Manager overtakes the responsibility of the projects Timeline and Budget, Resource allocation, Brand compliance during project phase and Quality of builds, as well as the formal handover of premises to Operations.
  • Throughout the development and opening process, he / she will produce qualitative reporting to stakeholders, using the appropriate tools and procedures applied to the group Project Management department.
  • The main responsibility of the PM is ensuring that all new projects of the Group, owned or licensed, are coordinated with the broader project committee composed of internal resources in a timely and financially controlled manner.
  • Additionally, the PM will be intimately involved in the openings of the project he/she has coordinated, providing the best possible assistance to administrative and operating teams to ensure smooth start of trading and provide formal financial and technical project closing report.


Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the development and execution of designated new builds and licensed projects, within the confines of the group Goal and Vision;
  • Absolute control over project timeline and budget, this is the prime role and evaluation criteria of the PMs performance;
  • To plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way;
  • To produce and coordinate the Projects Operating budget assumptions, detailed CAPEX and Pre-opening budget;
  • To use existing tools, systems and KPIs to monitor projects timely, financial and quality execution;
  • To assist in the development of new tools, systems and KPIs to monitor projects timely, financial and quality of execution;
  • To conduct audits of internal and external project resources on their participation to the project execution;
  • To support the Project Director and project team in the brand compliance for all active development projects;
  • To support the Operation Director and Culinary Director in the production of Project operation guidelines/applications and ensure coordination during execution;
  • To support the development of a motivated and high performing team of committed market leading professionals delivering clear goals;
  • Develop a positive, direct and open relationship with all key stakeholders, licensees and colleagues;
  • Protect the health, safety and well-being of clients and colleagues;
  • Constantly inspire the Group vision and positive culture with all key stakeholders, licensees and colleagues;

Requirements

  1. Higher level of education and market leading profile sector experience of no less than 3 years;
  2. A proven track record in project management leadership position or the equivalent;
  3. Experience within F&B, Hospitality, Architecture or Engineering firm, with relevant quality standards;
  4. Experience of Project execution in Middle East is a plus;
  5. Extraordinary leadership, communication and analytical skills and ability to see the bigger picture and prioritise accordingly;
  6. Excellent organizational skills;
  7. Eye for detail;
  8. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to performance target;
  9. Hands-on, problem solving and curious mind-set;
  10. Native or high level written or spoken English.
  11. Great flexibility and adaptability in working in a multicultural environment.
