Senior Craftsman

Implementation and follow up of safety management plan and environment standards.

Completes maintenance work on mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment and systems

Performs checks and adjustments on any mechanical equipment whenever necessary or as per the instruction.

Strips down mechanical equipment efficiently. Identifies and reports any abnormalities. Repairs and / or replaces any item required and re-assembles the equipment, leaving the working area clean.

Carry out all the PM’S, running inspections & checklists on a daily basis, as per maintenance planning requirements.

Attends to all equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision within the time constraints given, and reduces production downtime.

Initiates replacement of worn out or failed components / parts in a safe manner.

Provides guidance and expertise to other divisions whenever required.

Monitors repeated breakdowns and undertakes proper action to resolve the problems using CMMS
