Pricing and Tender Manager

Responsibilities:
• Preparation and execution of major/global tenders and ensure alignment with relevant internal stakeholders and partners.
• Lead and execute sourcing projects for Sea Freight, Air Freight & Landside activities including Cross border Trucking.
• Ensure contracts are in place with suppliers.
• Develop & implement the procurement & pricing strategy for DP World UAE logistics across all trade lanes including intermodal.
• Coordination with Forwarding Operations manager to ensure service delivery levels to customers.
• Actively monitor supplier landscape in UAE and build up new suppliers to enable them to meet the organization’s standards and requirements in future, to ensure reliable supply at competitive prices and to manage markets risks
• Establish & maintain contact with key suppliers to acquire information on service offerings, understand their market approach and enable a better and closer working relationship.
• Completion of rate requests incl local tenders.
• Contribute to the development of commercial logistics and product strategy.
