Sales and Marketing
- Making customer presentations
- Attending trade fairs
- Looking into market trends and advertising
- Conducting surveys and product reviews
- Making decisions about product packaging based on packaging trends / surveys / feedback
R&D and Processing
- Researching the latest flavour trends
- Developing new recipes to keep freshness, flavour and nutritional value of food
- Making changes to recipes based on product feedback/availability of ingredients
- Developing specific-needs recipes, for example gluten-free recipes
- Setting standards for and studying the shelf-life of foods
