Head of Business Development

The primary purpose of this newly created role is to lead GCC-wide expansion and market penetration for our client. They have opened new legal entities in other countries (with more in the pipeline!) and need a senior BD individual to create new partnerships and business opportunities. With a solid base in the UAE, strong cash flow/ liquidity and reputable brand name – they look to have a greater presence in the Middle East.

Required skills & Qualifications :

To be considered for the role, the following criteria should be met:
• 10-15 years overall professional work experience
• Minimum 7-8 years’ sales/business development experience in the UAE/ Middle East
• Desired background in automotive (transportation/ rentals), food-tech/aggregator, internet start-ups and related areas
• Track record in partnerships establishment across the region with above background and a proven successful track record
• Solid understanding of the local/regional business landscape
• Bachelors degree qualified
