• Leader of the management team that is responsible for both people and business agenda of the entity; actively lead, develop, organize and provide direction for the Inter IKEA business entity in accordance with IKEA Culture and Values.
• Develop, implement and enforce policies internal controls and procedures of the company (Finance, People & Culture, Risk and IT) that will improve overall operations and effectiveness of the company.
• Provide leadership, analytical, operational and strategic finance support to management and business partners.
• Provide the company management with performance reporting, analysis and recommendations to allow for navigation towards financial goals and company internal KPI's.
• Oversee the financial closing of annual accounts, external reporting and ensure fulfilment of accounting principles including liaising with auditors.
• Prepare, gain acceptance and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to secure budget targets, profit commitments are met and costs are minimised.
• Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanisms to meet operating needs.
• Monitor and ensure local customs operations are in compliant with relevant law and custom audits.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks to optimise company profit in accordance with local tax law.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary taxes.
• Ensure that the entity comply with relevant laws and regulations in areas of human resources, finance, tax, customs and all health and safety regulations.
• Represent Inter IKEA in negotiations with vendors/suppliers, to secure the most effective contract terms.
• Represent Inter IKEA towards the relevant authorities and external stakeholders
