Job Description

POSITION: Freight Forwarding Manager

OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate should be able to expand and develop the existing business both locally and within the region/internationally. This will be a hybrid of operations and business development.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

At least 5-6 years experience within the freight forwarding industry in the Gulf Region (preferably In Dubai)

Strong focus or background in Air Freight Sales or Business development with a proven track record.

Good experience in Freight Forwarding overall operations

Experience in warehousing including bonded warehousing

Excellent communication skills in English

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the company s overall sales & business development targets are met

Analyzing competitor activities, exploring market needs and opportunities

Creating brand awareness and business development

Be responsible for sales targets and KPI s

Monitoring market trends, fluctuations and ensure proper sales/business development strategies are implemented

Identify market opportunities and covert them in to profitable business relationships

Development and streamlines operational, sales & business development processes to increase productivity and effectiveness
