• Comply with local licensing laws.
• Follow daily assigned employee shift side work.
• Communicate proactively with Front Office, Sales, and Culinary departments to coordinate all VIP guests’ amenities.
• Ensure compliance of brand standards.
• Tracking all orders, from passing to the kitchen till the safe delivery of the cake and following up on guest satisfaction.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate effectively the guests’ preferences with the Culinary department and the Leadership team.
• Follows hotel uniform and grooming standards.
• Maintain the highest standards to all Cake Boutique’s orders and deliveries.
• Maintain departmental requested supplies properly stored and organized.
• Excellent knowledge of all menu items, designs, contents and preparation methods.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Strive to achieve departmental targets.
• Take guests’ cake orders and input orders in an appropriate point-of-sale system
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
Job Requirements:
• High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English: verbal and written. Arabic is a bonus.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
