Job Description

ITPMedia Group is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 100 brands. We deliver quality, real-time content to our audiences, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers. These brands include a range of major names from Time Out and Harper s Bazaar to Arabian Business and Construction Week.


One of the largest media companies in the Middle East, ITP Media Group are looking for a Commercial Director to join its Customer Solutions division. The company reaches an audience of more than 42million people across the region and beyond through its leading websites, portals, social media platforms, events, conferences, award ceremonies, magazines, books and social media influencer agency.



Requirements

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, proactive sales person with 5+ years international or GCC Media sales experience with contacts across multiple industries inclusive of advertising agencies.

Strong experience in selling across digital display, video production, social media, events and print platforms is required, as is the proven ability to drive growth through new audience & revenue channels.

The right candidate will display an excellent understanding of media sales and the media market place, but not be defined by it, and most definitely be able to think outside its traditional parameters and conceptualize, create and pitch a wide range of solutions across all media properties and non-media properties, for example bespoke dinners, events, product launches, research.

Strong negotiation and closing skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and maintain efficiency and accuracy are key attributes.

Additionally, the right candidate will have experience in and demonstrate;

  • GCC media sales
  • Selling digital solutions, social influencer channels, video, awards & events.
  • Creative content solutions.
  • Management of a project, from concept to delivery
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Brand and product extension & development
