Citrix Support Senior Engineer

Job Description

Your Main Responsibilities
• Escalate to and assist the team leader in resolving issues related to the team in areas of operations and personal grievances
• Support all EUC, Network and infrastructure assets onsite operations and maintenance
• Ensure ISE s policies and procedures concerning Asset Management are carefully applied and adhered to
• Actively ensure that standard build images for all EUD meet the approved ISE standards and policies and contractual agreements
• To be compliance with ISE s policies, processes, practices and systems
• Support End User Computing/Infrastructure activities and ensure compliance of service delivery to defined Service Level Agreements
• implement policies and processes for the Infrastructure /End User Computing team
• Support the contents of the Service Management System Knowledge Base on a regular basis
• Support Team Leader to coordinate staff schedules to align with business unit objectives
• Support availability and recovery operations applied to the Infrastructure/End User Computing systems
• Apply technical knowledge and experience to understand, document and resolve customer issues
• Support asset and configuration management activities carried out by Infrastructure / EUC team for all Infrastructure /EUC applicable services
Your Skills & Qualifications
Essential
• The jobholder should have a Bachelor s degree in IT or a relevant IT certificates and has a knowledge about IT Service Framework.
• The jobholder should have proven supervisory and motivational skills within a technical and business support environment.
• The jobholder will be aware of general business processes and practices.
• The jobholder should have 3-5 years of experience in a Citrix environment
• The jobholder must be educated to degree level standard in a relevant discipline with excellent knowledge of infrastructure and applications across a variety of platforms.
• The jobholder will be aware of general business processes and practices.
• The jobholder will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The jobholder will have excellent knowledge of client/server systems.
• The jobholder will have VMware and Microsoft Server certifications.
• The jobholder will have Cisco certifications.
• The jobholder will have excellent knowledge active directory infrastructure.
• The jobholder will have excellent knowledge of other Services like DNS, DHCP and FSMO Role.
• Up-to-date application software coding and script in knowledge.
• The jobholder will have excellent knowledge of System Centre Configuration Manager
