Reports to:

Head of Insurance Operations & Management

Main Duties:

  • Establish new business opportunities within the insurance market and discover blue ocean strategies in capturing a niche (regular and niche market opportunities).
  • Train other sales team members on the product offering when required.
  • Coordinate with the clients on policy renewal, claims, quotation and other information related to the client for the issuance of insurance policy.
  • Provide support in evaluating and assessing risks and properly evaluating proposals.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly and ad-hoc computerized reports for the management team.
  • Organize and maintain all computerized and manual records to ensure smooth flow of work.
  • Bring the new business across various categories of insurance through network and other forms of business development.
  • Advise clients on choosing the right insurance plan.
  • Collect payment from clients.
  • Keep a proper excel sheet report of events in progress.
  • Propose creative ideas to market products and increase demand, eg. Run events, product packaging etc.


Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree in any relevant field (Attested)
  • CII Certificate (Preferred)

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Insurance experience
  • Insurance or Bancassurance related experience

Skills:

  • Basic level - Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of written and verbal Business English communication
  • Adaptable and able to multi-task
  • Team player and goal oriented
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel & Power Point
