About GTC Bethlehem Child and Family Advice and Training Center - Bethlehem
The Child and Family Counseling and Training Center ( GTC) is a mental health center that has been operating in Bethlehem since its foundation in 1994 and provides mental health services from psychotherapy, counseling , special education, training for psychologists in addition to research in the field of mental health. The goals of the center: - Providing preventive and curative services in the field of community mental health for the child and the family in particular and the local community in general. - Developing the knowledge, skills and experience of workers in this field through lectures and training - Communicating with the various societal and educational frameworks, such as the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Education, schools and hospitals to cooperate in developing areas of mental health and education. - Preparing research to study the needs of the Palestinian society in general and the needs of children and their developmental, psychological and learning families to develop methods of treatment and diagnosis, and to create community and family awareness in the field of mental health.
