Dubai has tightened security controls for Covid, with authorities ensuring that all protocols are strictly followed. The concept is to ensure that individuals remain masked while they establish social distancing.

Besides, a host of new precautionary steps have been introduced by the Emirates and experience operators' attractions. The additional procedures that have been introduced at these tourist destinations have been identified by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism).

Malls

From February 28, shopping outlets and entertainment venues such as The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates will operate at 70 percent capacity.

The Global Village

All shows, including firework displays and street entertainment, have been temporarily suspended. Everything else is available.

Hot Air Balloons

Hero Experiences Agency has employed a hygiene manager, which runs Platinum Heritage and Balloon Adventures, to ensure that all Covid-19 protocols are maintained.

IMGWorlds of Adventure

The most significant indoor theme and amusement park have deep cleaning and sanitizing processes regularly. Inside the retail stores and dining areas, a limited number of visitors are permitted, and thermal cameras have been mounted at the park entrances.

Dubai Aquarium

These protection measures have been introduced by the attraction that exhibits more than 300 marine animal species and provides specialty diving, shark trainer experiences, and snorkeling: online ticket buying, arrival temperature tests, and thorough sanitization routines.

Legoland Dubai

Building activities and areas of soft play were closed.

Laguna Waterpark

It operates with hourly disinfection and regular deep cleaning at a reduced capacity.

The Palm, Atlantis

Its swimming pools, restaurants, and beaches operate at a limited capacity. Families, as well as groups of up to five guests, are allowed to sit together.
