Software Engineer in Bengaluru working in the finance team’s credit-risk function, with experience building event-driven architecture for automated underwriting. Experienced in AWS-based data and application pipelines, rule engines, state machines, analytics modeling, and full-stack development.
As a part of the Finance Team, I work in the credit-risk function where I built the entire event-driven Architecture of automated underwriting.This involves working heavily with AWS services, building and maintaining a rule engine, a state machine, several statistic models, and user-facing APIs.
– Earned accolades for building a configurable risk-score model that facilitates 50% of our credit decisions for large customers and 100% for smaller customers automatically as of now. I completely automated several functions like Loan Portfolio Tracking through an IRR model, CAM reports generation through pre-filling, and reducing customer data collection all of which reduced the TAT of the loan disbursement pipeline and direct costs associated.
– Was part of Data Engineering Team where I played a key role in the migration of data collection pipeline from ELT to ETLT to reduce costs and pipeline sync time
– Built financial pipelines for several third-party APIs end-to-end from Transaction processing to analytics modelling
– Built a pipeline for the operations team to upload file data to Bigquery using an S3-backed SFTP server(ec2)
– Worked on POC for CDC of backend Mysql database using Dataflow, Debezium, and Kafka
