I am currently building the Data & Analytics function for Brezzer Mint Limited, a fintech startup while working on the below objectives.
Setting the vision, and strategic direction of the Data and Analytics function and guiding implementation to ensure maturation of business intelligence.
Ensuring data quality and effectiveness of BI tools and data models Bridging between business stakeholders and the tech team

Implemented several report improvements which resulted in significant time savings and increased operational efficiency
Saved over 200 people hours per month across different functions
Collected requirements and specifications from stakeholders / business function leaders and transformed them into tangible reports
Led the team in automating more than 10 high impact reports
Led in the creation of a self-service data model for the logistics and customer service team
Established workforce coordination within the team in client introduction and steady migration into the cloud platform
Developed a comprehensive architecture of the Kenya Education Cloud platform which was approved for development
Created business analytics, reports and insights for various companies including Sarova Panafric, Africa Cancer Foundation and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD)
Deployment of office 365 in various institutions including Centum Business Solutions, Apex technologies, Young Diplomats of Kenya and Africa Cancer foundation

Some of the projects that I and my team have implemented at Miyabi include:
4Africa Cloud Support Miyabi Africa worked together with Microsoft 4Africa to migrate some company's' storage and processes to a cloud-based model. In this project, established great workforce coordination within my team in client introduction and steady migration into the cloud platform.
Kenya Education Cloud In conjunction with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, Miyabi Africa Limited developed an education platform solution that is to serve all stakeholders in the education department (i.e. Publishers, Teachers, Students and also distributors) in the Republic of Kenya. In this project, I developed a comprehensive architecture of the Kenya Education Cloud platform which was approved for development. Creation of business analytics, reports and insights for various companies (i.e. Sarova Panafric, Africa Cancer Foundation and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD))

Other projects/ achievements involved include:

Chase Bank now (SMB bank) is a large financial institution in Kenya that offers services for mainly small and medium scaled businesses. It also has a large interest in technological developments and featured a technology operations team.
During my time in this organization:
I worked as a software project lead at Chase Bank Kenya in the software development division whereby I design proposed applications (e.g Kontrol Mkononi: this was a survey application to get to know how employees carried out their daily operations. project chargeability, timesheets compliance, project profitability and leave utilization. Saved >150 people hours for each appraisal period.).
Created DevOps workflows and project timelines using different tools for different projects and operation for my team.

I majorly did software installation and maintenance, network monitoring and database management. The successful accomplishment at was at AON Insurance Brokers where I worked with the team in migration of their computers and servers with their own customized software solutions throughout the country. Also, I was a project associate and user experience lead in developing a financial customer relationship management software for a credit and savings micro-finance institution called Smart Pesa.
