• I conduct Data Collation, Data Cleaning, Data Validation, Data Quality Assessment, Data Upload, Data concurrence analysis between Electronic Medical Record System(NMRS) and National Data repository (NDR), I ensure the generation of XML files and upload to the National Data Repository. I monitor data ingestion and ensure 100% concurrence between the EMR and NDR.
• Supervise and participate in the deployment and maintenance of Nigeria Medical Record System (NMRS), Patient Biometric System (PBS) deployment and implementation, APIN Dashboard, APIN Vitira Card Implementation (A software used to monitor the patient retention rate) and other E-solutions in designated facilities across the 50 facilities in the region.
• Collate weekly data sets across all facilities and generate daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports which include; Treatment Numbers; Treatment New, Treatment Current, Treatment PVLS(Tx_PVLS numerator and denominator)Treatment MLS (Tx_ML) & Treatment (Tx_RTT), Clinical Quality Indicators, CDC bi-weekly CMP, TB-HIV Co-infection , HTS, ANC, Commodity management, Recency, AHD(Advance HIV Disease), Key Population (KP) program implementation, Accelerating Progress in Pediatrics and PMTCT(AP3), and any other reports for program management, research and decision making as required.
• Participate in bi-annual Joint Data Quality Audits by US CDC and Conducted database audits, data analytics and reporting using SQL and Ms-Excel, Python and Filemaker, etc. for selected facilities in line with APIN’s Data Quality Assurance (DQA) schedule.
• Monitor Viral Load sample collection and ensure perfect functionality of LIMS-EMR interoperability and also monitor the documentation on Viral Load registers.
• Monitor and ensure all newly diagnosed patients have their biometrics captured and CD4 count done, documented and uploaded to the National Data Repository.
• Provide off-site and on-site technical assistance facility Data Entry clerks including Data Entry Assistants to ensure data meets acceptable quality standards
• Prepare Health Informatics Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly workplan for submission to the Head of Office and APIN Management.
• Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Health Informatics Unit Program Narrative Report for transmission the Headquarters and the CDC.
• Participation in Retreat internal/External CDC, State level national level Retreat, Meeting, conferences among others on behalf of APIN/Health Informatics Unit
