Senior Data Architect
Responsible for new developments within Oliver Wyman’s client to feed the SSOT (Single Source of Truth) database and all downstream internal subsystems, from Financial Force system.
All new initiatives are created in Informatica Intelligent Cloud (IICS) and existing processes are maintained in SSDT.
The project consists of extracting all the data for Clients, Accounts, Legal Entities, Projects, Opportunities, Timecards and Assignments from Sales Force (as CRM system will be shutting down) and storing it an SQL Server DB.
It also requires to analyzing the impact upon all existing downstream systems and building the new ETL processes if needed or adjusting existing ones.
In addition, I participated in the construction of ETL processes in a project where the migration to a data vault architecture of the datawarehouse in snowflake (on GCP) was performed.

Senior Data Architect & Tech Lead
Responsible for the development for project at Merck Poland customer in order to implement a solution to analyze the quality of information coming from source systems and KPI analysis.
The whole project was created in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
The project consisted of implementing validation rules and configuring acceptance or rejection thresholds according to business rules and data quality standards.
All information that did not meet the quality standards was reported in a user interface implemented in APEX, where users could make modifications to the information reported there as a result of the validation rules executed by the automatic processes in IDQ.
Technical Lead
Responsible for coordinating and managing all data enhancements and new initiatives for all internal systems of Banco Santander Río Uruguay.
The main objective was to change the culture of the company by providing new technological tools so that they can have a better quality and integrity of data, having a positive impact in reducing the operation time in the business areas.
The project also required the migration of the Informatica PowerCenter platform, as well as all the databases and their ETL processes.
KCP LAO Data Specialist
Responsible for data enhancements and new initiatives for all data systems within KCP LAO.
I worked primarily on reducing the data turnaround time from when we received information from distributors to when we store the data in the HANA system, where users consume sales and input data through Tableau dashboards.
The main goal is to improve data quality and integrity by redesigning the architecture and the way the different systems interact with each other.
BI Technical Lead & DWH/ETL Sr. Developer
Responsible for the development of Business Intelligence solutions to support the BTS-DSSG (Business Technology Services) organization within an investment bank in the USA.
In addition to leading and coordinating the local team in Argentina.
I developed many solutions from scratch, from the design of the system architecture to the modeling of the ETL processes, as well as the creation of database objects to meet the requirements and all the requested features.
The projects were small and lasted about 4 months each.
One of the most exciting and large projects was the creation of a solution to support the merger between two banks in order to consolidate the data from the old bank with the new one and avoid end users being affected by the migration to the new system.
On the other hand, I participated in an interesting project where the bank wanted to manage all the ATMs it owned or leased.
The solution brought remarkable benefits, such as tracking the life cycle of an ATM and provided information on whether the ATM was profitable enough or not.
ETL Manager
Responsible for ETL developments on the Informatica PowerCenter platform.
I worked on a large project where the main goal was to populate the Hadoop NoSQL database with all the data obtained through various systems to provide the Big Data team with everything they needed.
BI Technical Leader
As technical lead, I was in charge of leading and coordinating all ETL developments as part of the Business Intelligence practice within the CoE department.
All projects were developed from scratch, as the team was new, including all its initiatives.
Most of the projects were conceived to satisfy business decisions by delivering strategic information, such as product sales, market share, evolution rate and growth, to the Sales and Marketing departments so that they can make the most appropriate decision possible.
To do this, the team built a new datawarehouse along with all the ETL processes to populate the data in it and build reports and dashboards for internal consumption within the lab.
BI Technical Leader
I was responsible for all back-end developments as part of a BI project for a local client within the Oracle consulting department.
The project consisted of creating a technical solution that provided the information of how many bags of grain were sold by the main grain producers so that they know which producer should pay the extended guarantee based on their harvests.
Sr. ETL/DWH Developer & Data Quality
The project consisted of providing operational support to the current team, such as data loading, troubleshooting and error correction, making small changes in the current processes, as well as the inclusion of improvements to provide the best operational services from the Argentina office.
The main achievement I got in this opportunity working for this client was the knowledge acquired about the Teradata platform.
Sr. ETL/DWH Developer & Data Quality
As a Senior Developer I have participated in a large project for Latin America within the IT department at the client Merck Sharp & Dohme.
The project consisted in providing strategic business information such as product sales, market share, evolution rate, growth, sales force compensation calculations, product prescriptions, etc. to the Sales and Marketing departments so they can make the most appropriate business decision.
One of the most complex projects was the one where we had to calculate sales commissions for the sales force based on target achievement and sales in their districts.
Jr. ETL/DWH Developer
The role of Junior Developer was to participate in a large project to service all countries in the Latin America region within the IT department at client Merck Sharp & Dohme.
The project consisted in providing strategic business information such as product sales, market share, evolution rate, growth, sales force compensation, product prescriptions, etc. to the Sales and Marketing departments so they could make the most appropriate business decision.
My main responsibilities were focused on improvements and small changes to existing ETL processes.
Technical Analyst
As an Oracle DBA, I was responsible for the maintenance of the two existing data warehouses.
The project was about to create a new DW to replace the old one.
The old datawarehouse had ETL processes built in PL/SQL instead of new, robust and reliable processes built by the PowerCenter software tool.
While this migration was taking place, I was in charge of populating the data in the old database, as well as performing operational DBA tasks on both.
