Portuguese classes (online and in person) and research scientist experienced in sanitation, water treatment, climate change, and in development of research in environmental technology. I have been teaching Portuguese classes for foreigners/ british citizens since 2023 (March). The content and style of classes are according to the student's profile. Thus, the content is generally divided into theoretical concepts, approaching grammar in a succinct and light way, day-to-day examples (based on the student's objectives and the students' reality), and/or exercises that intersperse writing, videos, texts, and conversation, always dynamically (classes time 40 or 60 min). In addition, I send other materials, generally addressing the content of the class taught and curiosities about the Portuguese language and cultures.
Scientific activities on themes of water and wastewater treatment. Specifically involved in research projects and in writing up of scientific publications. I worked on a project to investigate the removal of microplastics (and other compounds) in the aquatic environment and their toxicity from the application of Advanced Technologies. Apart from that, I developed new supervision skills by supervising 3 master's students in their laboratory experiments. Some of the studies include removal and detection/characterization of microplastics on several water samples (e.g. tap water, greywater, filtered water, bottled water).
Develop projects on the water supply to low-income communities in Brazil.
Collaborate with projects to train young people for programs related to the water agenda.
Worked at the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geomatic Engineering.
Teach Portuguese classes for foreigners and British citizens.

Participate in projects and advocacy to increase Brazil’s capacity to deal with climate change and environmental justice.
