Excited to leverage MPH in Epidemiology plus hands-on global research experience to improve public health and safety by conducting disease and program research, analysis, reporting, tracking, and measuring/evaluation. A curious, independent leader experienced in performing data management and statistical data analysis using SAS software, with a passion for non-communicable diseases, salt-sensitive hypertension, and dietary intake.
Provided 10+ virtual and in-person students with support and learning strategies for epidemiology, biostatistics, and SAS courses.
Completed practicum on the relationship between TNF and SBP: performed ELISA assay for plasma sample to measure TNF-α, and carried out quantitative analysis of ELISA data; manipulated and conducted complex secondary analysis for DASH-sodium trial. Worked collaboratively with pharmacist (PI), epidemiologist, and professor who helped with writing manuscript.
Carried out an in-depth literature search to understand the mechanism of TNF-α in the kidney.
