Overview of some realized projects:
Client 1: Landmark Group: The Landmark Group began its journey in 1973 with one store in Bahrain and has grown into one of the largest retail and hospitality conglomerates in the Middle East, Africa and India. Currently the Group operates over 2,200 outlets, encompassing over 30 million square feet across 21 countries.
In this project I helped my client to migrate some data modules (retail-ecommerce) from the SFTP data source to GCP:
Design of solutions allowing the processing of large volumes of data pipelines to migrate data from SFTP to GCP (GCS, GBQ)
Deployment of scripts (python script) on a Linux virtual machine linked with Jenkins
Creation of raw tables, then intermediate tables based on SQL queries (creation of views and integrated in Python code)
Extraction of data from APIs such as: Custom Exports API
Ensure pipeline maintenance
Organize coaching sessions for the Landmark team
Client 2: ALtayer-Ounass: Ounass presents a carefully-curated edit of exclusive capsule collections from local and international designers of the highest calibre, housing the Middle East’s widest range of top-tier designers. From fashion and beauty to lifestyle and homeware, Ounass has boasted over 300 luxury brands since launching in December 2016 as Al Tayer Group’s first, exclusively digital, luxury e-commerce site. In this project I helped my client to migrate some data modules from the Google cloud platform data source to aws:
Design of solutions allowing the processing of large volumes of data pipelines to migrate data from GCP to AWS
Preparation of scripts in python to automate the feeding of databases in GCP
Deployment of scripts on a Linux virtual machine linked with Jenkins
Creation of scripts in the pyspark environment to extract data from GCP (GBQ) to AWS (S3, Athena), make deployments in Glue jobs (AWS)
Creation of Lambda functions to monitor and control databases
Set up an Airflow project on AWS: Creation of Airflow tasks for the different stages of the data pipeline (extraction, transformation, loading)
The BI team then exploited the databases by creating several dashboards
Ensure the maintenance of all the pipelines created.
Client 3: Starz play: STARZPLAY is a subscription video-on-demand service that streams movies, series, documentaries, children's entertainment and series alongside the United States, as well as dedicated Arabic content. The service offers thousands of premium titles, including exclusive STARZ Original content such as Power, Outlander, Spartacus and The White Queen.
Also, the STARZ PLAY Original such as Baghdad Central.
In this project I helped my client to migrate certain data modules (finance, billing data) from the Google analytics data source to GCP:
Design of solutions allowing the processing of large volumes of data pipelines to migrate data from Google analytics to GCP (GCS, GBQ)
Deployment of scripts (python script) on a Linux virtual machine linked with Jenkins
Creation of raw tables, then intermediate tables based on SQL queries (creation of views and integrated in Python code)

Customer 4: Alshaya: Alshaya Group (also referred to as M. H. Alshaya Co.) is a multinational retail franchise operator headquartered in Kuwait. It operates 90 retail brands in the Middle East and North Africa, Russia, Turkey and Europe. Hospitality, automotive and general commerce, largely

centered in the Middle East.
In this project I helped my client to migrate several data modules (e-commerce) from several data sources to GCP:
Design solutions allowing the processing of large volumes of data pipelines to migrate data from several sources to GCP (GCS, GBQ)
Extract data from APIs.
Creation of pipelines with python script to refresh data on (daily/hourly/weekly/monthly) basis
Maintain pipelines
Creation of SQL queries according to customer demand to create intermediate tables to be used by BI teams to perform
