Role: Appointed to manage the PMO of a program of 52 different construction, High rise, Pipelines, Reservoirs and infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Taif & Madinah, then Dammam for Saudi NWC (National Water Company)Spearhead operations of the PMO encompassing activities like planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, cash flow, Cost, budgeting, and reportingPrepare/ implement project management manuals, processes, KPIs and reports based on evaluated project progress on Oracle Primavera Unifier and Power BIConduct audits on project management processes & reports as well as project managers activities and procedures to ensure compliance to organizational processes and proceduresCoach/ guide project managers in review and approval of planning packages including scheduling of project baseline, logic & relations between activities, constraints/ resource loaded schedule, manpower/ resource analysis and levelingParticipate in meetings with the PMO team, multiple contractors / sub-contractors and other departments to update/ discuss the project progressEnsure effective communication of problems/ risks to the management and team (planners and cost controllers) about decisions/ events impacting cost and scheduleAssess project updated schedule versus baseline (schedule variances), analyze impact of slippages on projectUpdate the management on potential schedule/ cost risk events and implement remedial measures to avoid or mitigate anticipated risksLiaise with other departments to ensure Change Management (review of variations/ claims/ Counterclaims or Cost benefit, negotiations with Contractors, analysis & recommendation, approvals of changes etc.,) in compliance to organizational proceduresRender support to the project manager in tender processing/ evaluation of bids on schedules & cost
