Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

• Lead mentor and manage a team of engineers developers and data scientists.
• Oversee the technical aspects of projects related to BIM GIS smart cities and digital twin technologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Project Planning and :

• Develop detailed project plans including scope budget timeline and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies city planners and private sector partners.
• Ensure successful project delivery from conceptual design through deployment and maintenance.

Technical Oversight:

• Provide technical leadership in the design and integration of BIM GIS and digital twin solutions into smart city projects.
• Ensure the adoption of best practices in data management software development and system integration.
• Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Strategy and Innovation:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance smart city initiatives using BIM GIS and digital twin technologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and technological advancements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as the primary technical liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Present technical concepts and project updates to senior management clients and partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering Computer Science Geospatial Science or a related field (masters or Ph.D. preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in smart cities BIM GIS digital twins or related fields.
• Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects and managing technical teams in Abu Dhabi.

Skills:

• Expertise in BIM GIS smart city technologies and digital twin platforms.
• Strong leadership project management and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and programming languages (e.g. AutoCAD Revit ArcGIS Python).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Professional certifications (e.g. PMP PE GISP) preferred.
• Experience with public sector projects and regulatory environments is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
