Required Skills:
Key Responsibilities Define and implement technical roadmaps for power electronics and hardware design Lead the design and optimization of advanced DC-DC converters inverters and motor drives for high-efficiency applications Drive advanced typologies for energy management high-performance devices and compact system designs Oversee circuit design and PCB development ensuring signal integrity thermal efficiency and manufacturability Utilize simulation tools to model and analyze system behavior and validate designs Lead prototyping efforts including power system validation and rapid iteration to meet system-level requirements Oversee integration of power electronics with motor systems and sensors in electromechanical designs Conduct comprehensive hardware/software testing including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations and field testing Ensure compliance with industry standards reliability benchmarks and EMC/thermal performance requirements Develop and optimize advanced motor control algorithms Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations for continuous system improvement Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to align power electronics design with overall system requirements Mandatory Requirement Must have prior experience working on Defense sector projects this is a hard requirement not preferred.
