The Senior Lagoon Design Engineer shall be responsible for the design coordination and technical development of artificial swimmable lagoons water bodies and associated filtration and chemical dosing systems for residential hospitality and mixed-use developments. The role includes coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project requirements local authority regulations and international standards and AZIZI design guidelines throughout all project stages from concept design through construction documentation and site support.
Responsibilities:
Develop concept schematic detailed design and construction documentation for artificial swimmable lagoons and associated systems.
Perform hydraulic calculations including:
Pump sizing
Pipe sizing
Water circulation calculations
Filtration and backwash calculations
Overflow and drainage calculations
Design and coordinate:
Filtration systems
Chemical dosing systems
UV treatment systems
Water features and fountains
Lagoon piping networks
Mechanical plant rooms
Coordinate with:
Architectural teams
Landscape consultants
Structural engineers
Infrastructure teams
MEP disciplines
Specialist lagoon consultants and contractors
Review and validate:
Design drawings
Technical specifications
Material submissions
Shop drawings
Method statements
Ensure compliance with:
Local authority regulations
Health and safety requirements
Sustainability standards
International codes and standards
Support authority submissions and approval processes.
Coordinate with CAD/Revit teams to ensure drawings and layouts comply with company standards and project requirements.
Participate in technical meetings presentations workshops and design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide technical support during construction testing and commissioning stages.
Report project progress technical issues and design updates to the Head of MEP.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
