SENIOR CIVIL DESIGNER

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our engineering team for onshore oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of civil design deliverables during the engineering phase including FEED and Detailed Engineering. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in civil and structural design a strong understanding of engineering workflows and familiarity with international and client-specific standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and prepare civil and structural design drawings including layouts site grading roadworks foundations underground services and drainage systems.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications industry codes (such as ACI BS ASTM) and client requirements.
• Work closely with Civil Engineers and other disciplines to ensure integrated design coordination.
• Generate and review 3D models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
• Interpret and implement engineering input and sketches into detailed civil drawings.
• Review vendor data and interface details to incorporate into civil design.
• Participate in model reviews design checks and interdisciplinary coordination sessions.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and support construction packages.
• Provide input during constructability reviews and design optimizations.
• Ensure that all deliverables are completed on time within budget and to the required quality.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 10 years of experience in civil design with at least 7 years in the engineering phase of onshore oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of FEED and Detailed Engineering deliverables.
• Proficient in software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation STAAD Navisworks or equivalent.
• Experience working with international codes and standards (e.g. ACI ASTM ASCE).
• Experience with ADNOC or other major oil & gas clients is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under tight schedules and manage multiple priorities.
