Job Role: Sales Manager (Freight and Forwarding) - UAE Experience

Job Role:

As a Sales Manager with experience in freight and forwarding you will be responsible for driving sales growth building and maintaining client relationships and overseeing the sales teams activities. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities meeting sales targets and promoting the companys freight and forwarding services in the UAE market. This role requires a strong sales background in-depth knowledge of the freight and logistics industry and experience working in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve company revenue targets and expands the customer base in the UAE market.

2. Identify potential customers industries and market segments for targeting sales efforts.

3. Build and maintain a sales pipeline consistently prospecting and generating new business opportunities.

4. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends customer needs and pricing strategies.

5. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients understanding their business needs and providing tailored freight and forwarding solutions.

6. Conduct sales presentations negotiate contracts and pricing and address customer inquiries and concerns.

7. Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on shipments address issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

8. Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet client expectations.

9. Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture promoting teamwork and motivation within the team.

10. Stay updated with industry trends market developments and competitive offerings providing insights and recommendations for marketing and sales strategies.


Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in business marketing logistics or a related field.

2. Proven experience (typically 5 years) in sales within the freight and forwarding industry specifically in the UAE market.

3. Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations logistics and supply chain management.

4. Established network of contacts and clients in the UAE freight and logistics industry.

5. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

6. Strong negotiation communication and presentation skills.

7. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.

8. Leadership qualities including the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

9. Self-motivated result-oriented and able to work independently and under pressure.

10. Valid UAE drivers license.
