Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Salesman to join our dynamic team in the UAE specializing in building materials and construction products. This role is critical to driving sales growth expanding our client base and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders across the construction industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their market knowledge and client-facing expertise to consistently meet sales targets deliver exceptional service and support the companys expansion in a competitive environment. The position requires a proactive self-driven individual with a strong understanding of the UAE construction sector and a passion for building lasting business partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Promote and sell building materials and construction-related products to new and existing customers
Conduct client visits to construction sites contractors construction companies and hardware shops to generate business opportunities
Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with contractors traders and project clients
Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure on-time material supply and order fulfillment
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall company growth objectives
Stay informed about market trends evolving customer needs and competitor activities
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in building materials or construction material sales
Valid UAE driving license required
Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage outdoor sales activities effectively
In-depth knowledge of the UAE construction market is highly advantageous
Positive attitude self-confidence and a customer-centric approach
Preferred product knowledge: cement and steel products plumbing and electrical materials plywood gypsum boards paints hardware and construction tools or industrial materials
Required Skills:
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects Solid understanding of cost estimation cost control tendering processes and contract management Proficient in interpreting construction drawings specifications and technical documents Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving abilities Competent in MS Office and industry-standard quantity surveying software Demonstrated ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
