Summary: The Contract Engineer (Civil) plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of civil construction projects within the GCC region by managing all contractual commercial and administrative aspects. This position is essential for maintaining compliance mitigating risks and supporting seamless project delivery through effective coordination with project managers consultants and clients. The engineer will oversee contracts from inception to completion ensuring alignment with project objectives UAE regulations and FIDIC standards.
Responsibilities:
- Administer contracts for ongoing civil projects throughout their lifecycle
- Review tender documents Bill of Quantities (BOQs) drawings and technical specifications
- Manage contracts subcontracts and project agreements with precision
- Handle variations claims and extension of time (EOT) submissions and negotiations
- Coordinate closely with project teams consultants and clients to ensure alignment
- Ensure all project activities comply with UAE standards and contractual obligations
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all contract-related processes
- Provide support to project and commercial teams as required

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC region
- Proven understanding of construction contracts and FIDIC conditions

Engineer Certified Proven experience with Oracle ERP systems in a construction or project management environment Strong organizational and documentation management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven setting Proficiency in project lifecycle administration and process optimization
