Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team playing a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the companys financial operations. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Prepare invoices payment records and financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor company expenses and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly closing reports
- Support VAT documentation and audit-related activities
- Coordinate payroll and maintain employee financial data
- Ensure all accounting records are updated and properly maintained
- Collaborate with management and project teams on financial matters
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Previous construction industry experience is preferred
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with UAE VAT procedures and financial reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Required Skills:
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects Solid understanding of cost estimation cost control tendering processes and contract management Proficient in interpreting construction drawings specifications and technical documents Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving abilities Competent in MS Office and industry-standard quantity surveying software Demonstrated ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
