The Work Placement Program is an experiential learning initiative designed to provide students aged 1518 with meaningful workplace exposure through placements with leading organizations across multiple sectors in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The program supports career exploration workplace readiness and the development of future-ready skills through structured industry experiences.
Role Purpose
The Project Intern will support the operations team in managing student communication application screening shortlisting coordination data tracking and administrative activities related to the Work Placement Program Summer 2026.
The role requires strong communication skills professionalism attention to detail and the ability to manage information accurately and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Parent Communication
Contact students and parents professionally via phone and email
Explain program opportunities requirements and expectations clearly
Confirm student availability transportation and commitment
Respond to basic inquiries professionally and accurately
Application Screening & Shortlisting
Review student applications based on project criteria
Support the shortlisting process according to partner requirements
Update student tracking sheets and records accurately
Maintain proper documentation of communication outcomes
Administrative Support
Assist in maintaining databases and tracking systems
Coordinate schedules and follow-ups with students and parents
Escalate sensitive or exceptional cases to supervisors
Support day-to-day project operations and coordination activities
Data & Reporting
Ensure accurate data entry and record management
Maintain confidentiality of student information
Prepare basic reports and status updates when required
Requirements
Education
University student or recent graduate preferred
Background in Business Administration Education Communications Psychology HR or related fields is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional telephone etiquette
Good organizational and time-management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
